Final Year Project - High-Resolution CT Scan of whole human lungs for Pulmonary Disease Research

As part of my Final Year Project at the University of Southampton, I undertook the "Breath of Life" project. The goal was to design a cryogenic chamber that would be capable of storing a whole human lung for over 24 hours at -80°C, while being constantly rotated inside of a CT scanner.
